Abstract: Ce travail a pour but de s'intéresser aux documents administratifs portant sur la circulation, le commerce et le travail des métaux à la fin du troisième millénaire av. J-C et plus précisément durant Ur III. Malgré le nombre important de documents qui nous ait parvenu, il reste tout de même de nombreuses zones d'ombres. Dans ce travail basé sur un document inédit, j'aborderai la question des sources de métaux, le commerce et les individus qui y sont associés, les différents procédés métallurgiques, les différentes catégories de métaux, la terminologie de ces catégories/types et finalement les alliages.</description>

Abstract: The innovative nature of the Japanese space programme&#xD;
&#xD;
Is Japanese space programme innovative ? &#xD;
If yes, does the quest for innovation cover all components of the space programme ? Why ?&#xD;
May the quest for innovation and cutting edge technology lead to adverse effects ?&#xD;
&#xD;
This thesis attempts to answer those questions by providing a multidisciplinary approach including space science, space law, geopolitics, economy, Japanese history and culture.
Commentary: Although limited in scope due to budget constraints, JAXA has demonstrated its regular quest for innovation (especially from the nineties) in different scientific topics throughout different missions over time, knowing both success and failure. &#xD;
Innovation is part of Japanese culture, and is namely intended for the benefit of the international community protecting not only Japan but Earth from various dangers, even though dual technologies by nature can be used « for wrong purposes » in a space offensive strategy. &#xD;
Fortunately Japan’s space strategy promotes the peaceful use of space by defensive ways. Within the framework of a collective self-defence strategy (allowing offensive actions by security laws of 2015), &#xD;
Japanese innovation in dual technologies is at the service of the formal alliance with the United States. &#xD;
Use of safe space coupled with innovative technologies is mandatory for Japan for the achievement of its scientific, economic and defensive military goals as well as its technical autonomy in space science.</description>
