Abstract
[en] In the computer world and more precisely when it comes to networks, middleboxes have an important place in discussions and researches. This is due to their broad possibilities of usage. Middleboxes can be applied in many contexts going from security, like packet inspection, firewall or intrusion detection system, to address translation, load balancing, statistics, proxy and many others. A considerable amount trafic goes through a middlebox. Therefore, the difficulty resides in building an architecture that allows the development of these functions in the most easiest and efficient way.
The objective of this work is to develop such functions using Middleclick, an ugraded version of Click Modular Router and analyze the framework in a developer perspective.
