Abstract
[en] This paper traces a lineage of Tom Phillips’ influences as they are displayed within A Humument, which is studied in relations to concrete poetry, the oulipo, erasurism, philosophical erasure, derridean deconstruction, russian futurism and mallarmean symbolism to ultimately reflect on how Phillips’ artwork dialogues with its source-text, W.H. Mallock’s A Human Document.
