Abstract
[en] This thesis consists of a comparative study about the social integration of the LGBTQIA+ Community in the two cities of Brussels and Sao Paulo. Through interviews, the main objective of this research is to discover how do these people feel integrated in their respective societies. The comparative study between these two settings should reveal whether the contexts (socio-political, cultural and economic) may have an influence on the results of the LGBTQIA+ Community integration. Today, this issue is present in both Belgium and Brazil; but previous research have shown that many discriminations still happen. As a result, the present study seeks to explore this question, by asking the opinion and satisfaction of the LGBTQIA+ people from these two cities on their integration in the society.
