Abstract

[en] What are the political reasons for China and India (two emerging powers) to develop a space programme? How do they plan to achieve this goal, through competition and or cooperation? These are the main research questions. The thesis explores mainly the theories of international relations to provide the answers. Cooperation and competition (including at international level) are studied in all aspects of both space programmes.
