Abstract
[en] HPV is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections in the world, and can cause many diseases, such as cervical cancer. Since 2011, the WBF has initiated a HPV vaccination program oriented towards young girls, in order to prevent cercival cancer. In 2019, policy makers decided to introduce gender-neutral vaccination for all french-speaking youth. In this paper, we use qualitative methods of analysis to understand the reasons that led to this policy change, which are ethic, technical and also scientific.
