Abstract
[en] This work focuses on lithium-ion batteries, and more specifically on current collectors, which
are one of the components of these batteries.
These current collectors, usually made from a simple sheet of metal, were produced
differently, before being tested to verify the viability of this new production method.
Therefore the current collectors were produced by physical vapour deposition. The thin layer
of metal was deposited on various kinds of substrate. These new current collectors were
then compared with conventional current collectors, and tested with active materials, to
check how these parts can be produced, what are the determining parameters, and if they
function correctly in real-life conditions.
These parts were therefore studied in terms of their electrical conductivity, then their
resistance to electrochemical corrosion.
