Abstract
[en] This dissertation investigates the role of the scientist(s) in H.G. Wells's "The Time Machine", "The Island of Doctor Moreau" and "The First Men in the Moon, revealing Wells’s attempts at bringing the questions of morality; education; nature to the fore, as well as evidencing the fundamental plasticity of literature, especially in Wells’s hands.
