Abstract
[en] The main objective that motivates and sustains this research project is to provide a comprehensive overview of the brain drain from Brazil to Portugal, with a special focus on skilled female migrants, the challenges they face in the Portuguese labour market, and the impact of this important component of international migration on the country of origin. According to Brazilian national statistics, women make up the majority of Brazilian migrants moving to Portugal. This research will provide valuable insights into the integration of Brazilian female skilled migrants into the Portuguese labour market. In this context, the impact of justice, equality and especially bureaucratic difficulties will be analysed, as these factors may influence their integration into the labour market and Portuguese society.
