Le syndrome d'Ehlers-Danlos chez les animaux de compagnie est-il comparable à celui chez l'humain?

Abstract

L’objectif de ce travail est de réaliser une revue narrative exhaustive de la littérature scientifique actuelle sur le Syndrome d’Ehlers-Danlos (SED) chez les animaux de compagnie et chez l’humain. En mettant en avant les similitudes et les différences concernant les manifestations cliniques, les altérations histologiques, les causes génétiques, les stratégies diagnostiques, ainsi que les diverses formes de ce syndrome.

The aim of this work is to carry out a comprehensive narrative review of the current scientific literature on Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) in companion animals and humans, highlighting the similarities and differences in clinical manifestations, genetic causes, histological alterations, diagnostic strategies, and the various forms of the syndrome.
