Abstract
[en] This thesis investigates improvements to a real-time smart charging controller deployed at a workplace charging park, where EV charging interacts with building demand, on-site photovoltaic generation, and grid-connection constraints. Two paths are explored: within the current OCPP 1.6 framework, a uniform-charging variant of the controller and configurable peak-shaving ceilings; beyond it, a multi-period optimisation model evaluated under decreasing levels of information quality. Results show that a moderate peak-shaving ceiling offers the best trade-off between cost savings and service degradation, and that the main gain comes from replacing the greedy controller with temporal optimisation, the cost of imperfect information remaining limited.
