Abstract
[en] At a time when worldwide biodiversity is crumbling faster and faster, consciences awake and the human dependence on Nature appears more and more clearly. Revelation of this dependence took various directions, among which multiple attempts to assess value of Nature. The Biophilia Hypothesis, a concept developed by Edward O. Wilson, is one of these approaches, focusing on relational values linking Man to Nature. Through the creation of a methodology and the observation of five biodiversity protection sites, the point of this work is the study of Biophilia influence on Nature protection in Walloon Region. At the end of this analysis, different profiles of sites were observed, advocating from an integral protection of existing natural environments to a sensibilisation and recreation approach, each profile being influenced by particular sides of Biophilia.
