Résumé
[en] This thesis presents the design and the development of a pressure regulator system of
the intermediate cavity of a scroll compressor. The project has been carried out within the
Emerson company. The regulator system has been design to apply the optimal pressure
at all the possible pressure conditions for the compressor operation in order to increase
the compressor performance
The heart of the master thesis was to design the pressure regulator system and the feedback
control in order to have a stable convergence without disturbing the compressor operation.
The control feedback has been implemented in a CompactRIO from the company
National Instruments. Furthermore, the optimal pressure has been estimated from
the modelling from the Emerson documentation.
Performance tests, which reveal a reduction of the consumed power without any significant
drop of the capacity, are promising for the future.
