Abstract

[en] More and more manufacturing society (aeronautic, automobile or wind turbine) would like to assess the life of their composite structures. For such aim, Siemens PLM Software has developed a finite element solver to tackle the behavior of such composites under different scenarios. The most common fail under damage in composites is due to delamination between plies. In this thesis, the implementation of the interlaminar model describing the bi-triangular relation that comprises both onset and propagation relating the traction against the displacement will be implemented in the subroutine of Simcenter solver.
