Abstract
[en] Rankine based Waste Heat Recovery is a promising technology for reducing the fuel consumption in heavy duty trucks.
In order to reach this goal, a lot of hot sources as well as working fluids can be explored; in order to compute the fuel saving potential of a truck equipped by Rankine with respect to the base truck a simulation work has to be carried out. This work will contain a development of WHR models on Simulink, a sizing of the Rankine components according to the specific architecture and working fluid.
