Abstract
[en] The master thesis will be focused on the recycling process of data servers. In the framework of an Interreg project, the recycling process of data servers will be assessed as the environmental impacts associated to the process. The phases of dismantling and shredding will be studied, characterizing the input and output materials. During the process, data will be collected in order to carry out a screening lca study on the process to provide recommendations on the design of further servers and on the design of the process to optimize the recovery of raw materials and minimize the environmental impacts.
