Abstract

[fr] Coronaviruses affect many species within the animal kingdom, including humans. Before focusing on Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome 2, coronaviruses responsible for the various epidemics that have occurred in the past in the human population will be discussed.
Those that are widespread in our domestic animals have been known from veterinarians for several decades. Important coronaviruses in veterinary medicine are reviewed, starting with those that we frequently encounter in the various livestock, and then those that affect our pets. Interspecies transmission will also be discussed. It’s an important approach in a “One Health” context, and particularly in the context of SARS-Cov-2. Indeed, the subject of the transmissibility of the virus from man to the animal being constantly pushed by new discoveries, we will talk about a review as recent as possible with regard to the contagiousness
of SARS-CoV-2
between man and animal.
