Abstract
[fr] During my studies I came several times across the notions of investment banking, and I became strongly interested in the subject with a particular affinity towards ways of speculating performance of the different investments, especially private equity. This may explain why despite pursuing a degree in Financial Analysis and Audit I am currently researching a subject in Investment Banking. Furthermore, several workshops on private equity including one held by Ludovic Phalippou inspired me and led me to the decision to research the drivers of performance in this specific form of investment.
