Résumé
[en] This thesis will try to understand why the discourses of refugees and migrants are being neglected and left aside. The refugee crisis Europe has known for a certain time now has not modified the perception common citizens have over this whole problematic. The book Refugee Tales, written in the UK about the indefinite detention asylum seekers have to endure while entering the territory, is a collection of authentic stories, narrated by well-known English authors. This book offers a good introspection into their lives before and during their detention. These people, often unvoiced and unheard in literature (but also in life in general), are given an important place in this book. By understanding what literature can bring to the refugee narratives and by trying to define some theoretical grounds concerning the narrative techniques that are mostly used in narratives in general, the Refugee Tales project will be analysed in order to comprehend what this book can offer to the world.
