Résumé

[en] As the debate about global warming becomes more and more frequent, everyone is becoming aware of the urgent need to take action to reduce man's impact on the planet. Companies can play an important role in this by implementing various measures to reduce their carbon footprint. For this reason, several laws have appeared to push companies to implement energy transition projects. One of the possibilities is the implementation of green mobility, given the impact of transport in terms of greenhouse gas emissions.

The aim of this project is therefore to study the possibility of implementing such mobility within Société wallonne des eaux. The company has chosen to focus on electric vehicles. To make the approach complete, the intention is to consider renewable energy production so that the use of the new vehicles is totally carbon neutral.

Firstly, in order to understand the issues at stake, it was necessary to assess the situation in terms of the electric vehicle fleet and infrastructure at a global and national level. The legal context of the project was presented to demonstrate the relevance of the project. In addition, a stakeholder analysis was carried out in order to establish the different people who could have an impact on the project.

Secondly, a study of the different elements subject to the project, both building and vehicles, and of the different activities of the company made it possible to establish the bases for the various analyses carried out. The market offer was evaluated, as well as the kilometers travelled, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the current fleet. This led to some operational recommendations before various cost-benefit calculations could be carried out, depending on the renewable energy production means chosen.

Finally, a sensitivity analysis and various calculations with assumptions were made in order to anticipate some changes that could occur in a constantly evolving subject. Various performance indicators will be used to evaluate the project when it is actually implemented.
