Abstract
[en] The topic of this thesis for the open boarders MBA program would focus on the business analysis for a company-wide technical platform, namely centre of excellence (CoE) operated for printed-circuit-board assembly (PCBA): "Integrating the global value chain - How technology platform pivots the business of electronics for an enterprise under transformation".
In the final report below aspects will be elaborated: global value chain of electronics and PCBA, its significance for business transformation of an enterprise from product-oriented into service-oriented, the strategic planning as standardized design/procurement activities for quality improvement and cost saving of electronics parts, the challenges during operation as company-wide strategy and related countermeasures.
