Abstract
[en] The aim of this research is to measure the acquired language level of different groups of French-speaking students at the end of their Dutch language education. Therefore, I compared the level of students who chose to follow the CLIL programme with that of students who chose a more traditional language education (6 years of Dutch or 4 years). In order to do so, I decided to analyse how each group of students organised words in Dutch complex sentences. This study shows some surprising results, especially with regard to the difficulties encountered by learners who followed the CLIL programme.
