Abstract
[en] This thesis focuses on the depiction of climate transition Amitav Ghosh’s novel Gun Island (2019). The story can be read as a response to an issue raised by Ghosh himself in The Great Derangement, which is the absence of climate change in serious fiction. This analysis will focus on the different perspectives taken by the author to address global warming in his novel.
