Abstract
[en] The scope of this master thesis is to investigate the impact of foreign direct investments on economic growth. Using a panel of 48 African countries for the time period 2000- 2019, we demonstrated that FDI can have a negative effect on the GDP growth rate. In fact, using the pooled OLS, the fixed effects methods and the feasible generalized least squares technique, we demonstrated that the FDI coefficients is negative and very significant.
