Résumé
[en] This master’s thesis studies incentive practices employed among young talents in management consulting firms based on national and multinational agencies. More precisely, this research focuses on the perception that management consultants have on the instruments put in place in order to boost employees and to better understand motivational practices applied in service organizations.
In order to examine, a qualitative analysis is conducted with a sample of seventeen people in total (thirteen advisors, three people from human resources and one director) in one national, 2 European and national and, finally, 4 multinational firms.
Through our analysis, we have concluded that most management consulting firms, whether it is at an European or multinational level, have similar incentives. The only exception is that in small European firms, these motivational instruments are applied to everybody without any exception, while in multinationals present worldwide, they will primarily be focused on employees considered as high potential of performant people.
