Abstract
[en] This paper deals with the Female Gothic as displayed in Jane Austen's "Northanger Abbey" and Charlotte Dacre's "Zofloya". It compares the female characters of these two novels and explores their similarities and differences in the context of the gender politics of Georgian England.
