Abstract

[en] The aim of this project thesis was to collaborate in the implementation of an economic consolidation software (GlobalFund) in which will be modelled SPVs and the various relations between the real estate entities, to give a coherent view of the real estate portfolio to the management. To this end, the project has to pass by the stages described below.
In the first place, to give this management view, it is necessary to make an overview of the real estate context at the company level. It concerns the detention policy of the real estate assets, the acquisition modes, the type of investments, real estate materials…
Secondly, because of the multiplicity of softwares dedicated to the real estate management, an analysis of the latter, the interactions between them, the links between the financial departments, the processes and procedures are needed. This analysis will be useful to understand how to consolidate the various data into a single software.
After explaining the context and the software packages, it is necessary to expose and analyse the existing reportings and the data generated, for actual and forecast figures. These reportings are coming for the most important part from the Real Estate Cell and the Back Office. After considering the reporting currently made, we can choose the relevant data to be included in GlobalFund and select new data and KPI’s to be generated.
The next phase is to define a methodology to make sure of the success of the project. It will follow the SDLC (Software Development LifeCycle) steps combined with an Agile approach to rework and fit the evolution of the company expectations. A risk analysis will be realised to highlight the main risk and how to mitigate the impacts on the project progress.
Finally, following the methodology, the last part of this work will present the implementation of the software package until the end of the internship. To conclude, this thesis will make an inventory of the current situation of the project, provide recommendations for the future of the implementation and recapitulate the benefits of the real estate data consolidation.
