Résumé
[fr] This study focuses on the investigation of Marketplaces and understanding the various dimensions that influence user experience on such platforms, through an extensive literature review.
The empirical part of the research centers on the analysis of competition between two Marketplaces, namely Amazon and Trendy Foods, based on the identified dimensions. Conclusions are drawn regarding the relative performance of each platform, their strengths and weaknesses in the different aspects studied, thereby determining areas where improvements would be beneficial.
Two qualitative studies were also conducted, one involving suppliers and the other involving customers. These studies provided crucial insights to identify enhancements needed for the Trendy Foods Marketplace. From the customers' perspective, it appears necessary to actualize the implementation of cross-docking, optimize the search process and familiarity with new suppliers, and enhance price competitiveness. On the suppliers' side, it would be advisable to develop new features, better showcase products, retain suppliers who have achieved significant sales, and increase the Marketplace's visibility through diversified communication channels.
In conclusion, this work presents various recommendations and suggestions aimed at strengthening Trendy Foods' position in the market. The most significant factors for the success and growth of a marketplace involve product variety, price competitiveness, supplier reliability, and user experience.
