Résumé
[fr] The concept of safety culture has been more than discussed after the nuclear disaster in 1986. Indeed, scientists have been working since then on this abstract notion. This is to say many studies have been published in different areas such as maritime and chemical sector. Nevertheless, there is a noticeable lack in the literature about the analysis of safety culture in universities.
Moreover, the role of the universities has been stretched out. In fact, academic institutions face several types of risks and try to work on their performance as other organizations. This leads universities to put in place a security management system which makes them appealing to realize studies on safety culture as it would be done in another sector.
Regarding this study, the aim consists in analyzing the safety climate of a Space Center and detecting the variables that explain the presence of subcultures. Therefore several analyses have been conducted on 48 individuals to answer this question.
In order to achieve the goal, we divided this Master Thesis into two parts. On the one hand, the theory related to the model of Cooper (2000) has been set up. On the other hand, we illustrate thanks to two chapters, the methodology used and the obtained results during the experimentation done in the Center Space.
