Abstract
[en] The purpose of this paper is to study the influence of external support as part of the implementation of a digitalization project on workers in social enterprises operating in the personal care services. The theoretical part of this work looks at the digitalization of the personal care sector, its impact on workers and the benefits for a social enterprise in this sector of using external support to carry out its digitalization project. The practical part takes the form of a comparative study of the experiences of social enterprises that have benefited from support under the DigitalESS project (pilot programme supported by the Walloon Government and intended for social economy enterprises wishing to use digital technology to serve their social purpose) and social enterprises that have carried out their transition autonomously. The projects conducted in the 3 organizations studied aim to equip social field workers with digital tools.
