Abstract
[en] The energy transition is underway, disrupting the traditional electricity grid ecosystem. In this tumult, RESA, the main electricity and gas distribution network operator in the province of Liège of Belgium, has embarked on a proactive quest to anticipate and respond effectively to emerging challenges.
Indeed, over the next two decades, the intensification of decentralized production and the increasing electrification of mobility and heating systems will radically transform the historical practices of network sizing and operation. This work is precisely in line with this evolutionary perspective.
