Abstract

[en] This paper attempts to provide additional insights on the performance analysis of European Private Equity funds. The thesis first explores the relationship between fund characteristics and the performance of PE funds. Using models and methods from Kaplan and Schoar (2005) complemented with recent findings from Harris et al. (2023), this paper then investigates the existence of persistence performance in the European PE industry.
