Résumé
[en] This research thoroughly explores the various phases of EDN's expansion into France, from the initial preparation to the verification and evaluation of the developed strategic plans. The study begins with an assessment of the skills and qualifications required for the Franchise Development Manager to ensure that the defined profile meets the specific needs of the expansion. This assessment is conducted through the examination of case studies and hypothetical scenarios, testing the relevance of the profiles even before their concrete implementation.
The study also delves into the legislative and legal aspects surrounding franchising in France, verifying that the preparations comply with local regulations. In the absence of a real audit, consultations with legal experts and comparisons with current legal requirements are used to validate the proposed practices.
In parallel, an existing market study on pest control in France is analyzed in detail. Although this study was not conducted by us, it offers an understanding of market dynamics, opportunities, and challenges, allowing us to validate the initial strategic hypotheses. The results of this analysis are compared with current market trends, relying on secondary data and consultations with industry experts.
The methodology of the study also includes a theoretical evaluation of EDN's Business Model Canvas (BMC). Expansion scenarios are simulated to analyze projected financial results, thus confirming the relevance and viability of the proposed business model. However, these results will need to be validated through real tests once the expansion is implemented.
Finally, feedback and suggestions from franchisees are gathered through surveys and discussions, even though this feedback is based on hypothetical scenarios. This feedback allows for adjustments to the plans, ensuring that preparations meet the expectations and needs of future franchisees. Work done for the franchise is included in the annex, providing additional support for the analysis and preparation of the expansion.
