Résumé

[en] In a societal context promoting equality, the professional integration of individuals with disabilities is a central issue for specialized companies. These structures offer more than just employment and income: they open doors to full social integration for people with disabilities. By ensuring them a salary enabling independent living and leisure activities, these adapted enterprises actively contribute to the inclusion of these individuals in society.
However, these companies face increasing challenges. Less financially supported by public authorities, they must diversify their activities and explore new sources of revenue to survive. Thus, the need for support structures such as a commercial service becomes imperative to address these new economic challenges.
This thesis aims to explore ways for the adapted work enterprise Jean Gielen to strengthen its commitment to disabled workers while reducing the risk of customer concentration. This is examined through the development of a client diversification strategy. These recommendations are based on a thorough study of the adapted enterprise environment, focusing particularly on Jean Gielen, as well as on the analysis of field surveys conducted during an internship.
The first part explores existing literature on adapted enterprises, diversification strategy, analysis of the risk of customer concentration, sustainable development strategies, as well as an introduction to Jean Gielen. The second part concerns an in-depth analysis of the adapted work company Jean Gielen, including an internal and external study, its competition, as well as a SWOT analysis. Finally, the third part presents the analysis of the results of various surveys conducted with prospects and clients of ETA JG. Following the analysis of the results, recommendations, and a conclusion on the viability of diversification and prospects for the enterprise are provided.
