Abstract
[fr] The objective of the thesis is to compare the impact on the performance post IPO of firms backed by Private Equity Firms. To do so, I will first have a look at the works from researchers that have been done on similar subjects. The second step will be to proceed with my own analysis. I will split the analysis in 2 phases, the short term and the long term returns of the IPOs. Within these 2 phases, I will analyse the return from a global standpoint, then dig further into regional impacts and finally I will proceed with a cross-sector analysis.
