Abstract

[en] This thesis investigates the influence of outsourcing on supply chain resilience within the Moroccan pharmaceutical sector, using case studies of Sanofi, Pharma 5, SOTHEMA, and Cooper Pharma through the Eisenhardt method. The research reveals that outsourcing non-core functions, such as logistics and secondary manufacturing, enhances operational efficiency and flexibility, enabling companies to concentrate on core activities. Diversified outsourcing partnerships, strong supplier relationships, and advanced technologies are identified as critical in mitigating risks and ensuring supply continuity. Regulatory compliance in outsourcing decisions is also crucial for maintaining quality and integrity. Despite limitations like the small sample size, the study provides valuable theoretical and practical insights, highlighting the importance of strategic outsourcing, robust partnerships, and technology integration in strengthening pharmaceutical supply chain resilience.
