Abstract
[en] The study compares the catenary and lazy wave configurations of dynamic cables in floating offshore wind structures, with an emphasis on determining the most suitable configuration for various water depths. The analysis identifies the optimal configuration by evaluating the Performance and adaptability of each design. In the latter part of the study, the focus shifts to the installation process and cost estimation for dynamic cables in a wind farm. The findings underscore the significant impact of cable costs on overall project economics and propose strategies for cost reduction to enhance the viability of floating offshore wind farms.
