Can sustainable management practices within sports facilities be effectively integrated into the global supply chain to support the long-term growth of the sports industry while promoting the best possible environmental performance? Studies will be realized on the Belgian Football (in Liège precisely) in order to have specific scope.

Abstract

The idea of this Research Thesis is about the implementation of management practices on the global supply chain of football (in Liège) in order to support long term growth while promoting the best possible environmental performance. So, it is really about seeing if it is possible or not (review of the current situation; try to bring new practices; see how it reacts; ...) with regards on SDG which are the 7th (affordable and clean energy) and the 9th (innovation and infrastructure). When we read, “try to bring new practices”, it is not mandatory that they are potentially news. In the literary review that has been produced so far, good ideas that have already been put in place elsewhere can be taken and see if they can be integrated/adapted to Belgium (and even Liège) after taking stock of the situation to see if it is possible to integrate/adapt them to Belgium (and therefore to Liège, given this thesis).
