Abstract
[en] This research aims to explore whether there are systematic cross-cultural differences in risk preferences among a sample of university students. Thus, this study will analyze the potential impact of the different cultural backgrounds on risk aversion levels, time preferences and financial behaviour of a sample of students as prospective investors. It seeks to provide a comprehensive analysis of how cultural factors could shape individuals' attitudes towards risk and investment by taking HEC Liège and Sapienza university' students as a representative sample, to investigate on an individual-level and in intersection with broader cultural dimensions(Hofstede's cultural framework)how culture could potentially shape risk attitudes and investment preferences.
