Résumé
[en] This research examines the digital transformation of Belgian security integrators, focusing on the application of the DFVA innovation framework to assess the strategic viability of Physical Security as Code (PSaC) for the banking sector. Drawing on insights from over 100 stakeholders—including banking security leaders, system integrators, regulators, and technology vendors—the study identifies core challenges in bridging physical and digital identity domains under tightening regulatory regimes such as NIS2 and DORA. Using a hybrid methodological approach combining market analysis, thematic interviews, an Adaptability Operating System (AOS) survey, and scenario planning, the study evaluates sector readiness, innovation pathways, and organizational adaptability. The findings reveal a critical gap in integration capabilities and cognitive agility among integrators, alongside strong potential for PSaC to deliver measurable risk reduction and operational efficiency. The research concludes by proposing a stakeholder-validated strategic roadmap, underpinned by industry security frameworks and change management models, to guide PSaC adoption in high-risk sector environments.
