Abstract
[en] The aim of this practical case is to analyze the supply chain linked to the Bulk & On site activity of Air Liquide and to propose solutions to improve the situation. At the end of the month, we are indeed confronted to the booking of provisions in the accounting instead of booking the actuals costs invoiced by the carrier because invoice is not ready yet. Next month, this leads towards gaps between cancelation of provisions and booking of the invoice.
Focusing on this problem we will work on Business Process Modeling & Reengineering as a tool to find improvements. Business Process Modeling is the graphical representation of business activities, including events, tasks and flows between participants that enable the current processes of an enterprise to be analyzed so that they can be improved. The bottlenecks found out in the mapping of the as-is processes serves as the basis for reengineering or redesigning the to-be processes. Those processes will be modeled in our thesis using the process modeling language BPMN2.0 known as de-facto industry standard.
