Abstract
[en] This project develops a Battery Management System (BMS) for the RoboCup team's mobile robot. A custom PCB has been designed around an STM32F429VIT6 microcontroller to implement cell voltage measurement, passive balancing, current sensing, and a PI-regulated buck converter for CC/CV charging four series-connected LiFePO4 cells while ensuring compatibility with a future five-cell configuration.
The resulting BMS card is designed to complement the existing multifunction board, providing the hardware and software to be ported into future versions of the multifunction board to enable in-robot charging without battery removal.
