Abstract
[fr] For a company to reach the top spot in the market with its product is already quite anachievement. Yet, it is another challenge to stay in that position. That is why manycompanies are trying to find new ways to improve their productivity and reduce the timeto market of their products. AW Europe is a company producing the software that will drive their automatic gear-boxes. Everyday multiple engineers work on the creation and improvement of variousproject. However, by being the first automatic gearbox manufacturer, these projectsneed to be realised in a very short amount of time to stay at the top of the competition.One of the new ways the company has come up with is through the use of the modelbased design.The model based design is a project management method that aims at the earliest de-velopment of a model matching the specifications in order to create functionnal tests assoon as possible and therefore unravelling mistakes.This thesis will focus on the introduction of this method in the process of the creation ofa new software. The software in question will treat the case of the strategies for drive-ability and adaptability for the gearbox. In other words, how should the gearbox adaptto the environment of the drive.
