Abstract

[en] This Master thesis is about the study of the photon sieves aimed to make a "photon sieve based telescope for deployable CubeSat interferometer".

Photon sieves are a young technology. They are diffractive lens made of polymide, a light material suitable in space environment.

To begin this work, the issues of such a satellite are presented.

Then, in order to study the photon sieves, a light propagator based on Fourier optics is developed. This propagator has been implemented in the Matlab environment.

Finally, thanks to the propagator, the photon sieves are studied, with the finality to be used in a deployable CubeSat interferometer, and the results are presented.
