Abstract
[en] The implementation of an ERP is always a challenge. The goal of this project-thesis is to analyze the process of the company Euroquartz and in particular, those of the production department in order to perform a sequencing of the production.
Euroquartz is an active organization in the production and the distribution of quartz, abrasives, rolled silica, etc.
The first part of this thesis covers the theoretical aspects of ERP and the “Process Approach”. Based on this theoretical framework, Euroquartz’s current ERP problems and the necessary functionalities of the future ERP are discussed in the second part of this project.
The third part of the project consists of an analysis of the different flows of the company according to the methodology of the “Process Approach”. Particular attention is focused on the sub-processes of the production so that a sequence of this one is proposed.
Finally, since the implementation of the previous ERP has been a failure, some recommendations are given to ensure the success of the Supply Chain improvement project.
