Abstract
[en] Agile development methods have been gaining popularity in companies since their creation in 2001. Several agile methods have been implemented mainly in the field of IT. However, the adoption of agile methods in the public sector has only been happening for a few years.
The objective of this thesis is to analyse how agile principles are applied and experienced in practice and to identify the key factors for the adoption of the method within the public sector. It will also demonstrate that in any change process there is always a discrepancy between managerial intentions and actual practice.
The study was carried out in the SPF Finances, more precisely in the collection department of the Administration Générale de la Perception et du Recouvrement.
