Abstract
[en] The 2020 report from the French Ministry in charge of gender equality accounts for gender disparity in higher social positions. Disparities in leadership positions also occur between boys and girls during their education: when entering high school, a higher proportion of teenage girls is to be found in literature or language-oriented courses, whereas hard sciences specializations count more male participants. In light of these assessments, the present investigation is designed to unveil discursive mechanisms occurring in textbooks that could engender the reproduction of gender-biased stereotypes.
