Abstract
[en] Based on the literature on the subject, the master thesis will summarise the strategies streaming services use in the streaming video on-demand market. The platforms employ these strategies to increase their position in the market, most notably by increasing their number of subscribers.
The thesis also develops the reasons behind those strategies, their impact on the service and its audience and how they compare with other platforms' strategies.
