Abstract
[en] The main objective of the following work is to analyse whether the effect of the opening of schools during the pandemic contributed to the increase in infections in Italy. The data on which the analysis is based are panel data and will be conducted at the provincial level, although many variables are unfortunately only available at the regional level. Two opening dates of the 2020/2021 academic year will be taken into account (we will explain in detail why later).
