Abstract

[en] This thesis explores the viability of launching DETRY's flexitarian product in the UK market, considering the shift in food preferences towards reducing meat consumption. It provides an overview of DETRY, known for its high-quality charcuterie and commitment to sustainable practices. The work focuses on an in-depth market study to assess the potential reception of the flexitarian product in the UK, based on research into the growing trend of flexitarianism, which blends plant-based eating habits with occasional meat consumption. The results indicate a promising market for flexitarian products, aligned with modern consumers' expectations for health and environmental sustainability.
